If you don’t want to install third-party screen mirroring apps, you can use popular video conferencing tools like Google Meet or Zoom. Both apps offer a built-in screen-sharing feature, which you can use to share your screen with another device and record the content.

Step-by-Step Guide Using Zoom:

  1. Install Zoom on Both Devices:
    • Download Zoom from the Google Play Store or App Store on both devices.
  2. Host a Meeting:
    • Open Zoom on your primary device (the one with the protected app).
    • Tap Host a Meeting and invite your secondary device by sending a meeting link or sharing the meeting ID and passcode.
  3. Join the Meeting on the Secondary Device:
    • On your secondary device, enter the meeting ID and passcode to join the meeting.
    • Once connected, swipe through the meeting options at the bottom of the screen and select Share.
  4. Share the Screen:
    • On your primary device, tap Share and choose the Screen option.
    • Tap Start Now to begin sharing your screen.
  5. Record the Screen:
    • On your secondary device, start recording the meeting by selecting the Record option.
    • Use the protected app on your primary device, and the screen will be recorded on your secondary device.
  6. Stop Recording:
    • Once done, stop the recording on your secondary device and save the video.

Step-by-Step Guide Using Google Meet:

  1. Install Google Meet on Both Devices:
    • Download Google Meet from the Google Play Store or App Store.
  2. Start a Meeting:
    • Open Google Meet on your primary device and tap New Meeting to create a meeting.
    • Invite your secondary device to join by sharing the meeting link.
  3. Join the Meeting:
    • On your secondary device, open the meeting link and join the meeting.
  4. Share the Screen:
    • On your primary device, swipe through the options to find Present Screen and start sharing your screen.
  5. Record the Screen:
    • On your secondary device, start recording the screen using built-in screen recording features or a third-party app.
  6. Finish and Save:
    • When you’re finished, stop the recording and save the video for offline viewing.

Method 3: Using Built-In Screen Recording Features

If you’re using an Android phone or PC, you can take advantage of the built-in screen recording features to capture the mirrored screen.

On Android Devices:

  1. Mirror the Screen to another device using AirDroid Cast or TeamViewer.
  2. Start Screen Recording on the secondary Android device by swiping down from the top to open the control panel and tapping the Screen Record icon.
  3. Record the Protected App and stop the recording when finished.

On PC:

  1. Mirror the Screen to a PC using a tool like AirDroid Cast or TeamViewer.
  2. Press Win + Shift + S to open the Snipping Tool, and select the video icon to start screen recording.
  3. Choose the area to record and click Start Now.
