Paying school fees correctly and on time is essential for a smooth academic experience at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA). Whether you are a new student or a continuing learner, understanding the approved payment methods, installment plans, and confirmation procedures will help you avoid delays, penalties, or registration issues.

This guide explains all the official ways to pay CUEA school fees, including M-Pesa Paybill, local and foreign bank transfers, installment options, and important reminders every student should know.

CUEA Fees Payment Options

CUEA provides several secure and convenient payment options to accommodate both local and international students.

M-Pesa Paybill (Fast and Convenient)

M-Pesa is the quickest and most commonly used payment method.

Paybill Number: 100205
Account Number: Your CUEA Registration Number (for example, S123-4567)

Steps to pay via M-Pesa:
Go to Lipa na M-Pesa and select Paybill.
Enter the business number 100205.
Enter your registration number as the account number.
Enter the amount you wish to pay.
Confirm the payment using your M-Pesa PIN.

You will receive an M-Pesa confirmation message immediately. Always keep this message as proof of payment.

Important notes:
There are no extra charges for M-Pesa payments.
Payments reflect instantly in most cases.

Bank Deposits and Local Transfers

CUEA also accepts payments through the following banks:

How to pay through a bank:
Visit any branch of the listed banks.
Fill in a deposit slip with the correct account details.
Indicate the student’s full name and registration number clearly.
Deposit cash or submit a cheque and collect your receipt.

Important notes:
Bank transfers may take one to two working days to reflect.
Personal or company cheques require about four working days to clear.

Foreign Currency Payments for International Students

Students paying from outside Kenya can use international bank transfers.

SWIFT transfers (USD, EUR, GBP):
Bank: Citibank New York
SWIFT Code: CITIKENA
Routing Number: 021000089

CUEA foreign currency accounts:
USD Account: 102473108
Euro Account: 102473141
Pound Account: 102473116

Local currency transfers (KES):
Bank: Citibank Nairobi
Account Number: 5102473002

After making an international transfer, inform the CUEA finance office and submit proof of payment, such as a SWIFT confirmation.

CUEA Fees Payment Plans

CUEA allows students to pay fees in installments to reduce financial pressure.

The standard installment structure is:
First installment: 50 percent of the semester fees, paid during registration.
Second installment: 25 percent of the fees, paid by the end of Week 4.
Third installment: 25 percent of the fees, paid by the end of Week 8.

Example:
If your semester fees total KSh 100,000, you will pay:
KSh 50,000 at registration
KSh 25,000 by Week 4
KSh 25,000 by Week 8

Late payment penalty:
A five percent monthly interest is charged on any unpaid balance. This penalty is applied automatically at the beginning of the following month.
